Too technical. Not enough information. I also have Office installed also set to automatically update via the "account" screen in the various apps. Each month on Patch Tuesday the Office suite does not get updated along with Win 10, I have to patch Office separately.
I recall the office patches being installed via Windows update in the past and do not recall any significant incident that may have changed the system behaviour. I tried "repairing" the Office installation last month but that does not appear to have made any difference.

This "problem" has been ongoing for a number of months so I don't think it is purely a slight delay in the Office patch release. My laptop quite happily offers both the Win 10 and Office updates, frequently at the same time of checking. I have tried all the basic update settings and repairing office but nothing seems to resolve the issue. I am wondering if Win 10 has a cache identifying installed Microsoft products that may be corrupt and therefore not offering Office patches Any thoughts?
